MARIS

Picture this: it’s a hazy Friday night and you’re standing in a dimly lit venue, surrounded by other indie aficionados who know that MARIS is the next big thing before everyone else does. Her ethereal vocals are like a gentle tug on your subconscious, pulling you into a soundscape that feels like a lucid dream you never want to wake from. With a ticket just shy of a twenty, you’re not only getting a night of transcendent tunes but also supporting LIFEBEAT through The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. That means while you’re enveloped in a sonic embrace that blends synthpop with a splash of celestial shoegaze, you’re also doing a small part to fuel a greater good. Doors creak open at 6pm, but be ready to line up early—the real music lovers know a $1 donation and the chance to snag bragging rights for catching MARIS live is the kind of Friday night flex that keeps your cred in check. Don’t get left scrolling Insta stories about the show you missed; be the one posting them.
